Sous Chef Gossler & Florin

At our Neo-Brasserie in the heart of Amsterdam, that timeless charm of classic dishes blends with contemporary creativity. As sous chef, you will be responsible for the kitchen’s day-to-day at Gossler & Florin. You manage a compact team that will serve accessible dishes at a high level. During your work, you switch easily between your various tasks, but keeping the quality at its best is a given for you. When the pressure is on, you are someone that keeps their cool and stays focused. And that is what makes you a valuable member of this new team.


  • You have completed your culinary education at MBO level and at least two years of kitchen experience;
  • You have management experience in a fine-dining kitchen environment;
  • You are up to date with the culinary trends and know how to translate these into a dish in a personal and unique way;
  • You have a positive mindset with a great sense of humour;
  • You are a strong communicator and – obviously – a real team player;
  • You are flexible in working hours (evenings, weekends, holidays);
  • You have knowledge of HACCP regulations.


  • A full-time position (40 hours per week);
  • A job with a lot of variety and opportunities to develop yourself;

  • 25 holidays, 8% holiday pay, and pension;
  • Salary and other conditions in accordance with the Catering Industry Agreement, depending on your experience, age, and your role;
